More concerns about exceptions

CRA member organisations have continued to raise concerns about the goverment's proposed exceptions to copyright. 

Following submissions to the Committees examining the proposed legislation by the CRA and the British Copyright Council amongst others, the NUJ has made a further response. It identifies a number of areas, including the unenforceability of contractual overrides and the use of quotations for purposes other than criticism and review, particularly of photographs, where it is clear that the government's proposals will harm the creative industries and are incompatible with international law.
